Where they started

Clicks from search fell 78% between the second half of 2025 and the first half of 2026: AI Overviews taking the clicks on educational finance queries, a December core update, and a site carrying 76 never-indexed posts and dozens of articles quoting out-of-date figures.

What was shipped

Repair first: about 150 thin or duplicate pages pruned or redirected, the sitemap cut from 415 URLs to 244, and every remaining post indexed.
Twelve articles rebuilt and fourteen refreshed against current figures, with an editor and the client’s compliance lead approving each one.
Now building: a location programme (nine town pages and a hub), reference pages with the figures answered in the first screen, and calculators the firm commissioned, including an income tax relief modeller already live.

What has moved so far

Location pages and calculators are drafts or newly live; no result is claimed for them yet.

Where the measurement stops

Two months in, this is repair and early position movement, not a traffic result. The positions above are three pages read on 19 Aug 2026 against the client’s June report; a full before-and-after waits for the first measurement window to close. No enquiry data is claimed.
