Marketing and reception for osteopaths and chiropractors

Patients search for their problem, then look for a practitioner they can trust. Julio builds a clear site that says what you treat in words the ASA accepts, markets it every week and replies while you’re treating.

  • £79 a month

Sound familiar?

What gets in the way

  • Older sites often still make claims the ASA doesn’t accept, and that can mean a complaint.

  • Patients stop booking once things ease, and the phone goes unanswered mid-treatment.

  • Patients mix up osteopaths, chiropractors and physios, and pick whoever explains it best.

How it works

Your website, marketing and receptionist, in one.

  1. 01 · Website

A new website, built and live in 48 hours

Julio reads your current site and reviews, then builds a first-appointment page with fees, your GOsC or GCC numbers and a conditions page kept to the ASA’s lists. Text “Sarah now works Mondays” and it’s updated.

  2. 02 · Marketing

Found on Google, AI search and Instagram

Each week Julio drafts a page patients look for, like what happens at a first appointment, keeps your Google profile fresh and posts a short tour of your treatment room. You approve every one first.

    How people look for you

    • “osteopath near me”
    • “chiropractor [town]”
    • “osteopath for back pain [town]”
    • “chiropractor for sciatica [town]”
    Julio · this week
    • “Osteopath, chiropractor or physio: who should I see?”, fair to all three
    • “Your first osteopathy appointment in [town]”, with your real timings and fees
    • “Meet Sarah, our osteopath”, with her registration, posted with her OK
Next week’s Instagram, for you to approve
  3. 03 · Receptionist

    Every call and enquiry answered

When someone calls, messages or fills in your form, Julio replies in seconds as your clinic and books a first appointment or a call back, without giving advice. Then it texts you their name, never their symptoms.

Replies to every enquiry: on Julio. Calls, messages and bookings: on Julio + Receptionist.

    JulioExample

Do you see people with back pain? Could I come in this week?

JulioThanks for getting in touch. Sarah has a first appointment on Thursday at 6pm: 45 minutes, £55. Shall I book it, or would you like her to call you first?

Can I book a review appointment with Sarah?

JulioOf course. Sarah has Monday at 7:30am or Wednesday at 1pm. Which is better for you?

Every week

Julio texts you what came in

What it did, who got in touch and what it suggests next. You just reply.

JulioExample

Morning! Last week:
Answered 14 calls while you were treating, and booked 7 first appointments
Found 2 old pages with claims the ASA doesn’t accept. I’ve drafted changes for your OK
Asked all 31 of last week’s patients for a Google review
Next up: shall I write a page on what happens at a first appointment?

Questions

Questions osteopaths and chiropractors ask

What can we say we treat?

Only conditions the ASA has accepted for your profession, unless you hold robust evidence for others. Julio keeps to those lists and words claims the way the ASA’s guidance suggests.

Our old site talks about treating babies and pregnancy. Is that a problem?

Probably. The ASA says claims about conditions specific to babies, children or pregnancy aren’t supported, so Julio drafts changes for your approval before the new site goes live.

Can we use “Dr”?

A chiropractor can, only if it’s clear they’re not a medical doctor. The ASA advises osteopaths without a medical degree not to use it at all, and Julio follows this.

Will Julio write about subluxation?

No. The GCC says it isn’t supported by research as a cause of disease, so Julio won’t claim it.

Can Julio take calls while I’m treating?

Yes, on Julio + Receptionist (£349 a month): it answers calls and books patients in, but never advises. Your phone gets “New enquiry from James: wants an appointment”, with no health details.

The rules Julio follows for osteopaths and chiropractors

  • Claims only for conditions on the ASA’s accepted lists, and none specific to babies, children or pregnancy
  • Advertising that is legal, decent, honest and truthful (GOsC standard D1; GCC Code, standard C5)
  • No claims that subluxation causes disease (GCC), and “Dr” only where it can’t mislead (ASA)
